But when we talk about the price than it is not possible for average people to purchase.Įven a piece of small mini equipment costs hundreds of dollars. Due to its huge demand inside the market, people around the globe prefer to purchase this smartphone. The hardware design and software interface is unique and eye-catching. Which is know as iPhone and in other words, it is called apple device. So considering the current security concerns the developers constructed the most secure and expensive smartphone. When we talk about advancement, then data leakage hacking factor also increases.īecause hacking a smartphone means hacking the whole company technology. With the advancement inside technology, the companies start constructing new and touch mobiles. Read how we test, rate, and review products on TechRadar. Thus there was a time when the Nokia devices were liked and used around the Globe. We evaluated their learning curves and other features like controller compatibility, rooting options, and screen recording capabilities, among other things. We also checked whether the emulators had ads and if they had ad-free premium plans. We assessed their performance, system requirements, and account login process. We then considered whether they were better suited for gaming or general app usage. We've tested the best Android emulators across numerous aspects, starting with their ease of setup and interface. Lastly, look out for additional features like recording capabilities, gamepad compatibility, and rooting options. Make sure to look out for the account login process because some emulators may not let you use an existing account login. It'll help to check whether the emulator has ads (and how pesky they are). You'll want to evaluate the emulator's ease of use, interface, performance, and pricing. If it's only for gaming, you'll want a gaming-oriented emulator, but if it's for general app use, then your options are different. When choosing the best Android emulator for yourself, start with assessing what you primarily intend to do with it. How to choose the best Android emulators for you? We've also featured the best free cloud apps for business. There is a wealth of keyboard mapping options to enhance your gaming, and you have the option of installing software through the Google Play Store, or by dragging and dropping APKs on to the program window. With support for Intel and AMD chips, as well as integrated and dedicated graphics, support levels are very good here. To get the best performance, it is recommended that you enable virtualization for your CPU. Given that its full name is MEmu Play, it should come as no surprise that – once again – the focus here is on gaming. It is one of the newer Android emulators on the block, but MEmu has managed to make quite a name for itself – and with good reason. Read our full BlueStacks App Player review. Overall, though, performance is decent assuming your hardware is reasonably powerful, making this a great way to bring Android to the big screen. In our experience set up was simple and easy, and we could install Summoners War fine, but we couldn't use an existing account login so watch out for that. The free one includes some ads and the occasional sponsored app, but these are pretty discreet.īlueStacks is primarily about games and the interface is essentially a front end for downloading and installing them, but it's also possible to visit the Google Play Store and search for other apps and if you want to add apps and games from other sources, you have the option of using standalone APK files. There are free and paid-for versions available. BlueStacks has been designed with ease of use in mind, and looks and feels just like Android on a tablet or smartphone. While Windows 11 introduces the ability to set up a virtual install of Android, there are plenty of people still using Windows 10, plus of course, all of the Mac users.īlueStacks App Player is perhaps the best-known Android emulator, and it's hardly surprising given its quality and reliability. But, if you’re hoping to do some gaming, you’ll want to take advantage of one of these emulators. Since many Android business apps are already SaaS-based cloud apps, you might find using a browser on your desktop PC to be just as easy for those. But, with an emulator, you can edit and upload photos from your PC or Mac desktop – something you just can't do otherwise. Unless you’re on the mobile app, you’re limited in what you can do with the social media platform. Or, maybe you want to run an app that’s only available on Android. You can not only do that with one of these Android emulators but you can simulate various screen sizes and phone models as well, letting you see how it does in different circumstances. Maybe you’re working on an app for Android and want to test it on a computer instead of a mobile device.

You can either sync via the superfast cloud option, use the super-secure local WiFi sync, or, if you are particularly cautious, you can vigilantly sync manually offline. Sticky Password is the only password manager that lets you choose from three synchronization methods. This makes it extremely difficult for hackers to intercept your data and use it for fraudulent activities. Since password protection is essential across all devices, Sticky Password’s security model accounts for device synchronization by using the same level of encryption used to encrypt the data stored in your vault. PBKDF2 is a principle that cryptographers use to turn a simple set of data, such as a master password, into a much more complicated string of data that is more difficult to hack. The encryption key is produced with the use of the password-based-key-derivation function (PBKDF2) which applies a cryptographic hash to the master password to protect it. It is also worth noting that the security model uses an additional encryption key to protect the master password against unauthorized retrieval or access. Your master password is never stored or transmitted over the internet and is only used locally to encrypt and decrypt your data. Entering both pieces of information ensures that only rightful users can decrypt your data. Devices are authorized using your master password – the only password that can unlock your vault, alongside two-factor authentication – an extra layer of security used to make sure that only the rightful users can log in to your account. The security model gives you the control to grant access to your secure vault on a device by device basis. Master Password & Two-Factor Authentication Originally adopted by the federal government, AES-256 encryption has become the industry standard for data security, so you can rest assured that Sticky Password has you covered with the highest security standards. This simply means that the password manager can run on multiple operating systems and devices whilst providing top-notch AES-256 encryption to protect your data. Sticky Password has been built using client-side application technology. Since then we've moved north a bit and found this location when we were exploring this area one day. My wife and I love the look of Z Gallerie and was disappointed when they closed the locations in San Diego. My wife and I love the look of Z Gallerie Z Gallerie may have with keeping the stores open and their frontline customer facing employees are not helping. Leaving the store, I did make a small purchase and the manager once again was unable to use the POP check out system and blamed it on her customer before she would talk to me. All they care about is the sale and not the health of a customer that was in an accident. I never received a response! Like I said, great merchandise but the worst customer service. Did she send the report? I decided to write to their corporate office customer service ofice. Compounding the situation, HRLP never called me. To make matters worse she refused to give a copy of the report and said that their HRLP department would call me. She did not know how to use the PC and required help from an older employee. The lackadaisical store manager ignored the accident and after 30mins decided to write an accident report. Their monologue is "It's on sale, do you want to buy it?" This is all I heard when I looked around the store and an unfortunate accident occurred, breaking glass coffee table injuring my legs. Great merchandise but the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The cons: Some complaints about longevity in some cases. The pros: Stylish dining tables and chairs with customization options. Customers have good things to say about Z Gallerie's dining tables overall, but there were some complaints around durability in some cases. Staying on top of what’s going on in the business world can be time-consuming (if not downright impossible). Eventually, she started uploading demos on Soundcloud and Bandcamp that teeter back and forth between private and public, with lyrics that probe the disquiet experience of growing up as a girl online. She then learned the guitar and started writing original songs - her first was about Egyptian history for a school project another early one was a jingle for her family’s cleaning robot. However, the third-grade band, where she played flute and clarinet, was her initial foray into music. It was a form of spirituality for Warncke, an attempt at reaching a higher consciousness through sonic textures. it sounds superb.Computerwife started when Warncke was 18, after downloading an Ableton free trial to follow the steps laid out by Grimes in a Song Exploder episode. but it's not unpleasant to listen to on a decent hi-fi. The tracks from "Who's Afraid." sound slightly more 'in-your-face' than my old vinyl copy, which possibly indicates some enhancing of the treble and bass extremes. an intriguing story that could have been told (and has been, elsewhere).įinally, sound quality - the mastering is pretty good, and no 'brickwalling' has taken place. No producers are credited and there is no additional information about the band, how they evolved, left ZTT, had further hits with China Records then came back to ZTT again. The potential confusion isn't helped by the absolutely minimal packaging - there is no booklet, just two CDs in a digipack, with writers and the copyright year for each track printed on the inside, under the CD. "Love" on Disc 1 is the 12-inch version 'beaten' mix of "Moments In Love" (which is shorter than the album version on Disc 2), and "Love Beat" is the slowed-down recording of Moments in Love (with the band discussing the track as a spoken intro). Some of the track titles are slightly misleading as well - but perhaps that was always the case with AON - so "Beatbox" is from the 12-inch single "Moments in Love", with the candidly recorded vocal intro "Diversions 1" is "Beatbox (Diversion One) from their album Who's Afraid Of The Art of Noise. a slightly curious mixture of crucial tracks from their ZTT peak around 1984 - 5 and some others from their return to the label in 1999, most notably featuring Rakim on "Metaforce". There's no quibble with the musical merit of these pieces, just. Of course, Art of Noise were pioneers whose adventures in sampling laid the foundations for much of what has followed over the past 20 - 30 years. The review below is for the double CD "best of" released in 2018. The "MP3 download" link above also takes you to a different product - the single of "Moments In Love". The confint function above tells us that we can be 95% confident that the true slope of the fly ash line falls somewhere between 0.02449962 and 0.06359668. How should we process all these different types of information? One way is to simply calculate the 95% confidence intervals around the coefficient estimate. However, we also know that the overall model is not very good (low-ish R 2). We know the slope is unlikely to be zero because the p-value is very small. So what is the point of the confint function? Our best estimate of the slope for fly ash is 0.044048. Of course, these are exactly the same results you saw using both Excel and SAS Enterprise Guide, so they should look familiar. We focus on the R 2 fit statistic (0.1652), which is not particularly good despite the apparently strong relationship between fly ash and compressive strength. R uses old-school notation ("***") to indicate at a glance that this is highly significant.įinally, the summary provides information on the overall model quality. As before, we focus on the estimated value of the coefficient itself (a one-unit increase in fly ash is associated with a 0.044048 increase in strength) and the p-value (2.05 x 10 -05). Next, we get a table of the coefficients. We will plot the residuals in a moment, so we do not need to consider the distribution of the residuals at this point. The summary function in R starts with a five-number summary of the residuals. You should be getting comfortable with the output from statistical packages by now (having used regression in Excel and SAS). Example: If we have a regression equation \(Sales = \beta_0 + \beta_1 Advertising\) and the learned values of \(\beta_0\) and \(\beta_1\), then we can plug-in our expected advertising spend ( \(Advertising\)) and predict our sales for the coming period. This allows us to predict values of \(Y\) using the known values of \(X\). + \beta_n X_n\) can be solved for values of the explanatory variables \(X_i\). Prediction: The parameterized linear model \(Y = \beta_0 + \beta_1 X_1 +. A statistically insignificant value of \(\beta_1\) suggests that advertising has no impact on sales. Obviously, we want every dollar we spend on advertising to result in at least a dollar increase in sales, otherwise we are losing money on our advertising efforts. Example: If we have a regression equation \(Sales = \beta_0 + \beta_1 Advertising\), then we can use \(\beta_1\) to better understand the impact of our spending on advertising on sales. Root cause analysis: The size, direction (positive or negative), and statistical significance of each slope provides us with a better understanding of the factors that might cause variation in the value of the response variable \(Y\). The slopes learned by the linear regression algorithm can be used in two ways: We think of each \(\beta_i\) as the slope of the line (also called the “coefficient” or “parameter”). “Fitting a line” means finding values for each \(\beta_i\) so that the error (or “residual”) between the fitted line and the observed data is minimized. + \beta_n X_n\), where \(Y\) is the value of the response variable and \(X_i\) is the value of the explanatory variable(s). Recall that a linear model is of the form \(Y = \beta_0 + \beta_1 X_1 +. The lm function in R constructs-as its name implies-a linear model from data.
And the -R option encapsulates several other options to create a three second test which gives the behavior I want.įrom among these options, it looks like ioping -RW. I’m looking for more of a performance test. And as a precaution I created a directory for testing called ioping: /run/media/michael/Data/ioping/īy default, ioping will mimic ping and perform one operation per second until stopped. For example, the sdb file system is attached at /run/media/michael/Data/ on my computer. To use the file system, we must provide the path to a directory on sdb. To specify a write test, we use the -W option. So, I don’t need any option to specify random access. In the examples below, I only use -W with directory targets.īy default, ioping will perform random access. Note the -W option will destroy data if used with a file or device target. But the basic kinds are:įrom among these options, the ones that most closely match my issue are random writes to the file system. So, I’d like to try to reproduce that workload with ioping. The problem I noticed was huge latency while saving documents. Using these options with ioping gives the sustained transfer rate. Remember these two discs are the same model. Its average speed was 5.00 MiB/s which is pretty bad. Now look at the result for /dev/sdb which is the disc having trouble. So the performance of sda looks pretty good. And I’d like to fix the performance issue.įirst of all my issue is resolved because I ordered a replacement hard disc. Or I’d like to measure/graph the latency if that is all that can be done. I’d like to see the error that is occuring when I write to the disc. But I don’t know what troubleshooting commands are relevant. I have a feeling that some debug log would reveal the issue. I only installed Manjaro in the last few weeks. That live USB image has the same software versions I had while the hard disc was working correctly. And writing to the disc from the live system was also slow. I tried checking Linux logs, running fsck, running SeaTools, chkdsk, and accessing the disc from a bootable USB drive. I can’t explain why the problem only occurs in Manjaro. I can’t think of anything relevant which has changed in the last few days. I don’t have a problem writing to this disc in Windows. I don’t have a problem writing to other discs. I don’t have a problem reading from the disc. My secondary hard disc has had increased write latency for the past few days.
